About Me:

Since joining Zaadz, I have thought, written, re-thought and rewritten my “About Me” profile many times.  No, I'm not obsessive compulsive, and I know the chances of my profile winning a Pulitzer are slim to none, but I am intriguied by so many other Zaadsters, and wanted to make sure I captured what it is about myself that drew me to the Zaadz community.

I've always been an incredibly introspective person, and I always think with my heart.  It is easier to for me to see the good in people, versus the bad.  I believe that compassion goes a long, long way.  I'm really focused on living a truly healthy, organic lifestyle; exploring my sense of spirituality in ways that I haven't previously; and most importantly trying to find a sense of community with like-minded people (that's where Zaadz comes in).

I'm an avid reader, a curious observer, and an aspiring writer.  I'm also a musician, and enjoy performing large orchestral works for my cats.  I'm a certifiable health-nut who believes you are what you eat.  I love cooking and finding people to try and force my experimental recipes on :)

I'm happiest when I'm pushing myself beyond my physical limits.  I'm a runner, a marathon woman, but the most intriguing thing to me about it is that no matter how large or small a race is, the only person I'm really ever running against is myself.  Every run is an adventure.  I've stumbled upon scores of wildlife, fallen trees (proverbial and actual); I've gotten lost trying to forge new routes between existing trails.  I've run in a foot of snow and almost ended up on the front page of a local newspaper; I've run in torrential downpour and laughed my way home.  When I stop thinking too hard, running for me is like dancing.
